Calling all kids! It’s time to “JUMP IN and GET FIT”. This is Jump’s Club where it is all about you, and your individual fitness accomplishments.
JUMPS’ Mile Challenge
Have you ever run a mile before? (a mile is 4 times around the track, or you can have mom and dad check how far a mile is while in the car driving.)
Try to run 1 mile without stopping. Don’t worry about your time. Instead, concentrate on giving it your best to try to finish the entire distance. Remember, don’t sprint right out of the gates and tire yourself too quickly. Pace yourself so you can finish the Jump’s Mile Challenge. Write us and let us know about your experience running the mile. Have your mom or dad run it with you, or make it a family challenge and get all of your brother and sisters involved! KIDFIT MOVE of the WINTER:
When the temperature drops, it’s not always easy to find the time or place to exercise. This winter, make it your goal to “Warm Up” every morning before you leave the house. Here are 5 quick “Start with 5” moves you can do that will improve your flexibility, endurance and core strength…all before you even sit down to start breakfast. These moves will also help you in improving your Fitness Gram at school, so go ahead and get Warmed Up!
